Katherine has hair that is actually 2 inches above her shoulders- a short bob. She colors (L'oreal Ash Blonde) her own hair, as well as cuts it herself. To do this super-cute style, she sections her hair down the middle and twists each side in an upward direction before using bobby-pins to secure each side in place. What I like about the style is it can be casual or formal and is easy to do. It works well with her short hair as there isn't too much length to worry about when pinning it. And, if peices of hair fall from the twists, that's okay too, as it adds to the tousled look. Using a texturizing paste in the hair before twisting it would also help give it that tousled look.
